Interviewer: You look tired. Busy day?
Billy: Boy, let me tell you, it was crazy.
Billy: First, I dropped off a box of fruitcakes at the Spark Of Love Toy Drive and took a bag of
toys to the Apple Valley Holiday Bake Sale. I was five miles down the road when I realized
what I had done. Had to go back and straighten the whole mess out. I mean can you imagine
some kid getting a fruitcake for Christmas? They would be traumatized and need therapy for
years! I know because it once happened to me. I still have reoccurring nightmares about it.
Billy: After all that I went to the homeless shelter to serve meals. It was great being around the
people, talking to them and helping them out. Then I drove over to Target to pick up a few
things. Found the cutest snowman candles, on sale too! They’ll make a nice centerpiece for the
table.
Interviewer: So are you ready to head on home, put your feet up and relax?
Billy: I’d like to but I need to go back to the shelter.
Interviewer: Helping out some more?
Billy: Not tonight. There’s a hot chick who volunteers there and she agreed to join me for
dessert.
